Shakespeare (1)

Like Rabbi Yeshu, he applied the art
We know today as depth psychology
To a great people sadly torn apart
By man-made, paranoid reality.
Like Jung, he showed projection is the cause
Of seeing plots in alien persons’ eyes,
Of waging God-forsaken holy wars,
Of consummating prophecies and lies.
Too bad he cannot come and write a play
About our born again crusader kings,
Who shall to Armageddon blast their way –
For dream they Christ is waiting in the wings.
On second thoughts, I should not wish Will back:
Since stretched he’ll be upon our mad world’s rack.
